CO2 Capture Performance of Graphene Oxide Synthesized Under Ultrasound Irradiation

Nowadays, CO2 capture is a vital technology to notably reduce the uncontrolled released emissions. using graphene oxide, derivative of graphene, has become tremendous interest due its unique morphology. In this present work, oxide (GrO) was synthesized under ultrasound irradiation according modified Hummers’ method and performance examined. The X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) analyses were applied explore structure sample. GrO examined by performing TG analysis different temperatures. adsorption capacity reached up 1.04 mmol g-1 at 25°C. experimental data getting from kinetic study revealed that Avrami model better described adsorption.
